Is the community or the town hall involved?
Sometimes both. If your plot belongs to a community of owners, the rules of the community may limit materials or colours visible from the street, and work on shared areas needs a decision of the owners' meeting under Ley 49/1960. The required majority is something your administrator can confirm.

Is it worth replacing the original paving on an older villa?
If the pavers are cracked, the edges have opened or the surface has dropped in several places, replacement usually makes more sense than repeated repairs. If the blocks are sound and only stained or faded, a renovation may be enough.
Why do the edges of my driveway keep spreading?
Usually because the edge restraint is missing, too weak or has broken. Without a firm kerb or concrete haunching, the outer blocks move outwards under car wheels and the joints open. New kerbs bedded properly stop that movement.
Can you pave around an existing gate and intercom post?
Yes. We cut pavers around posts, gate tracks and inspection covers and set the levels so the gate still opens freely. If a gate track needs lowering or raising, tell us so the level is planned from the start.
Do I need the town hall's approval for new paving in Estepona?
