Which municipalities make up the Axarquía?
There are 31. The Junta de Andalucía calls the comarca La Axarquía, and the Diputación de Málaga uses Axarquía-Costa del Sol for the same group. In alphabetical order:

What changes between a coastal town and an inland village?
Mostly the logistics and the setting, not the method. On the coast, if your home is a townhouse or in a development, the job is often an entrance, a patio or a shared path. In inland municipalities such as Cómpeta, Sayalonga, Árchez or Canillas de Albaida, if the house is in a village centre, access may be narrow and materials may have to be carried in; if it is a country house on land, a drive and parking area are more likely.

Which services fit Axarquía properties?

Do you work in Cómpeta, Periana and Viñuela?
Yes. We cover all 31 municipalities of the Axarquía, including Cómpeta, Periana, Viñuela, Alcaucín, Sayalonga and Árchez. Inland villages without their own page on this site are served in exactly the same way.
Which Axarquía municipalities are on the coast?
Five: Algarrobo, Nerja, Rincón de la Victoria, Torrox and Vélez-Málaga. They are the Axarquía municipalities crossed by the Senda Litoral, the coastal path along the province. The other 26 are inland.
Is it La Viñuela or Viñuela?
Both forms appear in different sources for the same municipality, so you may see either on maps, documents or websites. It is one place, and we work there under either name, as in the rest of the Axarquía.
Can you get materials to a house in a narrow village street?
Usually, yes. Materials come on a smaller vehicle or are unloaded at the nearest point and moved by hand truck or dumper. It adds labour, which we include in the quote, but rarely prevents the work.
What paving suits a village house in Árchez or Canillas de Albaida?
If the house has a traditional style, natural stone or clay usually sits better than grey concrete. The town hall can tell you whether any rules apply to visible materials in the village centre.
Can a country house in Alcaucín have permeable parking?
Yes. Grass grids or gravel-filled grids give a firm surface for occasional parking while letting rain soak in. Hard paving can be kept for the area around the house and the main parking space.
Do you charge more for inland villages?
Travel and access are cost factors, as are area, existing surface and material. We plan visits and deliveries efficiently; the reference figures and factors are explained on our price site.
Can you quote from photos if I live abroad?
Yes. Send photos, the approximate m² and a description. We give a first estimate, then confirm on a visit with you or a trusted person, and send the final quote in English.
Do I need a permit for paving in the Axarquía?
It depends on the municipality's ordinance and on whether the land is urban or rustic, which the town hall confirms for your address. Andalusia's LISTA law provides a responsible declaration for many minor works.
Who handles sunken or tired paving in the Axarquía?
